The Role

An Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the financial transactions of an organization, ensuring that all invoices and bills are processed accurately and timely.

• Managing Accounts Payable: Using accounting software to handle accounts payable for various entities and vendors.
• Invoice Processing: Receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices for payment, ensuring they are properly approved and documented.
• Payment Processing: Ensuring bills and payroll are paid on time, taking advantage of cash discounts and avoiding penalties.
• Vendor Relations: Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, responding to payment inquiries, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing documentation for audits.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Reconciliation: Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Expense Reports: Reviewing and processing employee expense reports.
• Audit Support: Providing necessary documentation and support during financial audits.
